Reporting directly to the Head of Africa Major Projects, we are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Project Manager to be based in our Casablanca/Marrakech/Rabat office. In this role, you will lead the installation team and be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of all projects for KONE while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope. The position will also require you to manage specific large projects where you will be accountable for managing the scope, schedule and budget of the assigned project(s). You will be the interface with all key stakeholders both internally and externally during the project, especially focusing on continuous, proactive collaboration with the customer.

What You Will Do

Site Supervision & Project Management

  • Lead the safe and successful delivery of elevator and escalator installation projects from handover to completion.
  • Ensure full compliance with KONE safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Plan and manage installation schedules, resources, materials, tools, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project costs and financial performance, maintaining profitability and achieving project targets.
  • Coordinate project handovers with the Sales team and ensure sites are fully prepared before installation begins.
  • Manage project administration, including workforce planning, progress reporting, documentation, and updates within KONE systems.
  • Work closely with Finance to ensure invoicing and payment milestones align with contractual requirements.
  • Oversee final inspections, testing, commissioning, and the successful handover of completed installations to the Service team.

Customer & Subcontractor Management

  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience through high-quality project execution and regular communication.
  • Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with KONE safety and quality standards.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and subcontractors to support successful project delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for project variations and additional sales opportunities.

Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop installation teams, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear objectives, allocate resources effectively, and monitor team performance.
  • Support employee development through coaching, training, and performance feedback.

Are you the one?

  • Engineering Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in PM role
  • Experience in Elevator and escalator industry is an advantage
  • Proven experience in the construction or engineering industry, with responsibility for site supervision, project coordination, and subcontractor management.
  • Excellent English, Arabic and French language skills
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to take initiatives.
  • PMP certificate is a plus.
