As a Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering the enterprise Salesforce capabilities that enable customer engagement, business operations, and AI-powered experiences.
This role goes beyond traditional Salesforce development. You will partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Marketing and Enterprise Data teams to build scalable, secure, and integrated solutions across Salesforce and supporting enterprise technologies. From core platform development and enterprise integrations to data-driven automation and AI-enabled capabilities, you'll help deliver solutions that support critical business initiatives across the organization.

What You’ll Do
The Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise software solutions that enable marketing, sales, customer engagement, enterprise data, and operational priorities. This role partners closely with Product Management and cross-functional technology teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across Salesforce and supporting enterprise technologies. The ideal candidate is passionate about building high-impact solutions that leverage modern software engineering practices, automation, and emerging AI capabilities.
Design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise software solutions across Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data360, Agentforce, and supporting enterprise technologies.
Lead the technical execution of complex initiatives from solution design through deployment, ensuring solutions meet functional, security, performance, scalability, and maintainability expectations.
Partner closely with Product Management to refine requirements, evaluate implementation options, provide technical estimates, identify risks and dependencies, and deliver solutions aligned with established roadmap priorities.
Design and develop data-driven solutions that enable customer engagement, business process automation, and trusted enterprise data across Salesforce and integrated enterprise platforms.
Design, build, and maintain integrations between Salesforce, enterprise applications, cloud platforms, AI services, APIs, external data sources, and other customer engagement technologies.
Leverage modern agentic software development practices and approved AI-assisted engineering capabilities to accelerate software development, improve code quality, automate testing and documentation, and increase engineering productivity while adhering to enterprise security and governance standards.
Design, develop, and implement agentic business solutions using Salesforce Agentforce, Data360, and other approved enterprise AI technologies.
Apply a configuration-before-code approach where appropriate, while using custom development when necessary to address complex business, integration, or platform requirements.
Drive engineering excellence by promoting scalable design patterns, reusable components, secure coding practices, automated testing, and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture through code reviews, technical knowledge sharing, documentation, and the promotion of engineering best practices.
Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, Quality Engineering, DevOps, Security, Data, Sales, and other business and technology partners throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
What You’ll Bring
7+ years of professional software engineering, application development, or related technical experience delivering enterprise solutions.
Demonstrated experience leading the technical execution of complex initiatives and delivering scalable, high-quality software solutions.
Significant hands-on experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting Salesforce platform solutions.
Strong proficiency with Salesforce development technologies, including Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Flows, declarative automation, integrations, security models, and platform data architecture.
Experience integrating Salesforce with customer engagement platforms, customer data platforms (CDPs), and enterprise applications.
Experience designing and implementing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, cloud services, authentication protocols, middleware, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.
Experience designing and implementing AI-powered solutions using Salesforce Agentforce, Data360, or other enterprise AI technologies.
Experience leveraging agentic software development practices and AI-assisted engineering capabilities to improve software development productivity, code quality, testing, and documentation.
Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, system integration, data modeling, testing, debugging, source control, CI/CD, secure coding, and release management.
Experience partnering with Product Managers to refine requirements, estimate work, evaluate technical tradeoffs, and deliver against prioritized roadmaps.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues across applications, integrations, automation, and data.
Experience working in Agile software delivery environments and contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, code reviews, and release activities.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across Product, Engineering, Security, Data, DevOps, Quality Engineering, and business teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Platform Engineer I or II.
Salesforce Administrator.
Salesforce Data360, Agentforce, AI Associate, or other relevant AI-related certification.
Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data360, Agentforce, or other Salesforce AI-enabled capabilities.
Experience with customer engagement platforms, customer data platforms, or enterprise communication technologies.
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
