  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account plan aligned to NASA’s enterprise modernization priorities

  • Build and strengthen customer relationships across NASA centers and directorates

  • Shape and pursue strategic opportunities, including major enterprise services and digital transformation programs

  • Lead BD and capture efforts to position GDIT as a prime on key upcoming NASA opportunities

  • Identify whitespace and emerging mission needs; develop strategies to expand GDIT’s NASA footprint

  • Partner with technical and delivery teams to align capabilities with customer priorities

  • Support a small portfolio of ongoing programs while maintaining a primary focus on strategic growth

  • Represent GDIT at key industry events, conferences, and NASA engagements

  • Collaborate across a matrixed organization, including transformation, capture, and CTO partners

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science required; advanced degree preferred

  • Experience: At least 5 years of recent engagement with NASA’s evolving mission, technology priorities, or enterprise initiatives and 15+ years of relevant experience

  • Established relationships within current NASA leadership, program management or technical communities

  • Strong understanding of NASA missions, organizational structure, procurement process, and enterprise service needs

  • Demonstrated success leading federal account growth, shaping strategy, and winning complex IT or mission modernization programs

  • Proven ability to transform a developing account—ideally moving from sub to prime positions

  • Strong ability to work in a fast‑paced, highly accountable environment

  • Self‑starter mindset with the willingness to roll up sleeves and operate with limited layers of support

  • Experience collaborating with technical leaders and integrating innovation into customer solutions

  • Technical skills: Must have depth in emerging and advanced technologies in IT Services such as AI, Cyber, Quantum, digital modernization and other advanced technologies

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust required: this role will require you to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and will require you to provide onsite fingerprinting at a designated facility.
