Your Impact: What You'll Do

Are you ready to engineer the sensors of future vehicles? At Bosch, we are revolutionizing vehicle safety with state-of-the-art radar systems that form the core of assisted and automated driving. We are seeking a brilliant and passionate Technical Program Manager (TPM) for Radar Projects with our European Customers to join our dynamic team. Your work will directly contribute to making vehicles smarter, driving more comfortable, and, most importantly, roads safer for millions.

You combine strong technical expertise, customer orientation, business insight, and leadership capabilities to drive radar projects from acquisition through series production and beyond.

As a TPM for our Radar Sensor Business, you will play a crucial role in bringing our life-saving vision to reality. You will contribute to this goal by:

  • Take end-to-end ownership for strategic European radar programs, ensuring achievement of scope, quality, timing, cost, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for overall program execution across engineering, industrialization, quality, purchasing, manufacturing, and customer teams.
  • Lead cross-functional international project teams and establish effective governance and decision-making mechanisms.
  • Drive technical and commercial alignment between customer-specific requirements and radar platform roadmaps.
  • Represent the projects in management reviews and steering committees, providing transparent status reporting, risk assessment, and recommendations for action.
  • Anticipate, identify, and mitigate technical, organizational, and commercial risks throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Manage customer escalations and critical project situations while maintaining strong and trusted customer relationships.
  • Coordinate dependencies across multiple customer programs and product generations to ensure optimal resource utilization and business performance.
  • Act as the voice of the customer within the Radar Business Unit while balancing the interests of the overall radar portfolio and platform strategy.
  • Foster collaboration across international teams to ensure efficient execution and consistent project governance.

Qualifications

Your Profile: What You Bring

Education

  • Master's degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.

Experience & Knowledge

  • Several years of experience in technical project, program, or product management within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of automotive radar systems and ADAS technologies.
  • Deep knowledge of the complete automotive product development lifecycle, from concept development through industrialization and series support.
  • Proven experience managing complex multi-disciplinary development projects with international teams.
  • Experience working directly with OEMs
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering, software development, hardware development, and product validation processes.
  • Experience managing customer relationships in a project environment.
  • Knowledge of automotive standards and processes (ASPICE, Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, Change Management, Quality Management).
  • PMP, or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
