Job Description
As a Security Officer Hospital Area Patrol in Towson, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related needs. - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other individuals at a healthcare location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.
- Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and adherence to facility access requirements.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
