As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting in Highland Park, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, shipping and receiving locations, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify site contacts and/or emergency services according to established procedures.
- Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least six months of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
