At Hitachi Energy, we’re building the ES Regional Office (ESOPC) in Madrid as part of our Grid & Power Quality Solutions business in Europe (HBUEU). As a Project Planning and Controls Specialist, you’ll join a team driving excellence in power quality systems—mastering planning, scheduling, tendering, and execution. This role integrates cost control and resource optimization to ensure flawless project delivery.
How you’ll make an impact
Manage scheduling for delivery projects using expert Project Controls knowledge.
Create, maintain, and analyze current and forecasted schedules.
Monitor costs, resources, and risks to keep projects on track.
Develop solutions to handle delays and meet deadlines.
Produce reports and conduct analyses (S-curves, OTD, earned value, critical path).
Highlight deviations and risks to project managers and teams.
Collaborate with project leaders to advance Project Controls practices.
Support continuous improvement in planning and execution.
Your background
You bring more than 10 years of experience in Planning & Scheduling and Project Controls.
Skilled in Earned Value Analysis and S-curves, especially with Primavera P6.
Strong knowledge of Excel and Office tools.
Self-driven, structured, and organized with excellent prioritization skills.
Team-oriented, inspiring, and motivating colleagues.
Fluent in English and Spanish. Any other language is a plus.
