Your job will be to own and help us deliver on this strategy, and help us attract, develop, and retain the best talentYou will be responsible forEnsuring that inyad is an excellent place for everyone to work and developHelping set and execute on our Talent Acquisition plans and Employer Branding strategyAssisting with recruiting and hiring responsibilities, including preparing job descriptions, putting them out on job boards, and arranging interviewsOnboarding and support new hires, make them feel welcome and informed during their first days at the company, ensuring they have the environment, tools to succeed in their roleBeing a trusted resource for employees on a wide variety of HR topics and support them on a day-to-day basis. Be available for and manage their ad-hoc requests and needsProviding direct administrative support to our Executive Team by helping them with research, documents editing, meetings scheduling and other ad hoc tasksWorking with people managers to develop career progression and personal development roadmaps for each employeeTaking ownership for tracking, analyzing, and improving employees’ satisfaction and job retention, as well as our time to hire and offer to hire ratesManaging external suppliers (e.g. recruiter partners, benefits providers)Creating and plan fun and meaningful company events that reflect of our unique cultureOwning our Learning & Development agenda, sourcing materials and setting up repeatable processesMaking yourself available for the next taskYour qualifications3+ years’ experience in People / Talent rolesPeople generalist background with exposure to several areas of a talent function & familiarity with employment lawProven track record of delivery within People Operations, for example on employee relations, performance management, coaching and program developmentGreat written and verbal communication and an eye for detailExperience managing 3rd party relationshipsYou possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, but also strong work ethic, you're well-organized and have strong attention to detailDiscrete, trustworthy, and approachableYou're a positive person with a can-do attitudeYou identify new opportunities and tackle them with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasmAbout usWe are a young and passionate team building the #1 all-in-one business management and payment platform in Africa.
