Fall 2026 Co-Op AI Business Analytics Intern
We are seeking a highly motivated AI / Business Analytics Intern to support an exploratory AI initiative focused on improving Technology and Manufacturing workflows. In this role, you will help translate business needs into practical AI use cases and contribute to early-stage solutions that may evolve into broader production opportunities depending on project outcomes.

Responsibilities

Design and prototype an AI-assisted operational workflow.

Partner with internal stakeholders to understand real business workflows and identify areas for improvement.

Translate ambiguous business problems into testable AI use cases.

Build a proof-of-concept or early-stage prototype focused on data extraction, workflow automation, and lightweight data structuring and insights.

Document solution designs, assumptions, and findings throughout the project.

Present results and recommendations at the end of the internship

Use Cirrus-approved AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Glean, and approved GPT-based tools in accordance with company policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Experience with Python or a similar programming language.

Basic understanding of automation workflows and data processing.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through open-ended problems.

Strong teamwork, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Exposure to AI, machine learning, or large language models.

Experience with SAP, Spotfire, or AI-assisted coding tools.
