As an Account Manager Intern, you will support enterprise customers on their AI transformation journey by helping identify business opportunities and deliver technology-driven solutions. You will collaborate with Microsoft teams, partners, and customer stakeholders to drive business outcomes, strengthen customer relationships, and accelerate AI adoption. You will also serve as a bridge between local customer teams in Germany and Microsoft's China Enterprise Commercial resources, ensuring timely and high-quality support for Chinese downstream accounts in Europe.

Responsibilities
  • You seek feedback from customers to understand the drivers of satisfaction and establish action plans to improve their overall experience.

  • Develops an understanding of the customer's business and technology needs for top priorities for assigned accounts. If industry aligned, also learns about the customer's industry.

  • You orchestrate extended virtual teams and key stakeholders to engage decision makers of assigned accounts. You share and recommend Microsoft solutions to customers, and develop value-proposition presentations and specialized business plans for customers that drive business outcomes to generate business and upsells.

  • You develop strategies to secure buy-in and execution of plans and aim to identify new opportunities within assigned accounts.



Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 

  • You must be legally authorised to work in Germany to be eligible for this role. (Legally authorised = has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit) 

  • Must have at least 1 semester/term remaining following the completion of the internship 

  • Fluent in German, English and Mandarin Chinese  

  • Technical affinity for Microsoft products (M365 and Azure) 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Understand both Germany and China manufacturing or robotics or other industry market 

  • Experience in account management or technical sales or using technology to drive customer business outcomes. 

  • Understand both Germany and China cloud and AI market
