Business Function

Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Team Head to supervise and guide the subordinates to ensure smooth running of the section
  • Perform fund valuation and net asset value reconciliation
  • Check general ledger and transaction input
  • Liaise with auditor on Fund audit work
  • Check to ensure subscription and redemption records are properly updated in the system
  • Handle enquiries from fund manager in an efficient manner
  • Check to ensure stock and cash reconciliation and ensure fees and expenses are properly accrued
  • Adhere to the operating procedures, and comply with company requirements, regulatory requirements (e.g. HKMA, MAS, etc) and Audit / Risk Management guidelines pertaining to the operations
  • Report any suspicious / outstanding transaction or incident to Team Head, Department Head and other relevant parties for necessary action per the Incident Management Policy
  • Participate in user acceptance test for system enhancements. Review business requirements and functional specifications.  Prepare test cases and conduct testing
  • Participate in project initiatives and business development, e.g. customer implementation, business continuity management, review of operational procedures, policies and guidelines; specific and job related training, etc.
  • Handle regular and ad hoc tasks as designed by Team Head and Department Head

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fund accounting or a similar role
  • Proficient in financial analysis, data management, and problem-solving
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
