How will you make an impact in this role?
We have an exciting opportunity in the Product, Lending & Digital Experiences (PDLE) team for an Assistant Product Manager, Digital Experiences. In this role, you will support the delivery and optimisation of digital experiences across the Amex App and Online Services for the Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) market.
Partnering with global and local stakeholders, you will help shape, deliver and continuously improve customer-facing digital capabilities, ensuring high-quality execution from ideation through to launch and post-release optimisation. You'll play a key role in bringing new features to market, improving existing experiences, and ensuring A/NZ requirements are successfully represented in global delivery initiatives.
Reporting to the Digital Product Manager, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, is comfortable navigating change, and is passionate about delivering seamless digital experiences that delight our Card Members.
- Support the end-to-end delivery of digital capabilities across the Amex App and Online Services for the A/NZ market.
- Partner with Enterprise Digital Experiences (EDX) team to define local requirements, influence feature development, coordinate releases and ensure successful market implementation.
- Manage the delivery lifecycle of new digital capabilities using Agile methodologies, including requirements gathering, coordinating soft launches and post release validations and post-launch monitoring.
- Monitor customer feedback, digital performance metrics and operational insights to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimisation.
- Collaborate with EDX Product Owners and cross-functional stakeholders to enhance customer journeys, digital content and self-service experiences across App and online channels.
- Coordinate local market readiness activities, including business approvals, operational readiness, communications and stakeholder engagement for new capability launches.
- Partner with Servicing, Product, Compliance and Marketing teams to ensure successful delivery of customer-focused digital experiences.
- Support release management by proactively identifying dependencies, risks and implementation requirements across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking, customer research and data analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities to enhance the digital customer experience.
- Measure feature performance against customer and business outcomes, using insights to inform future roadmap prioritisation and optimisation.
- This role partners closely with global teams across the US, UK, India and other markets. As such, flexibility to collaborate across different time zones and participate in virtual meetings outside standard business hours is occasionally required.
- Experience in digital product management, digital delivery or customer experience within Financial Services or another customer-centric industry.
- Strong customer focus, with the ability to use data, customer insights and market trends to identify opportunities and improve digital experiences.
- Excellent project management, organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Proven ability to collaborate and influence across cross-functional teams, including Product, Technology, Operations and Risk, to successfully deliver customer-facing capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing risks, dependencies and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of digital channels, mobile apps and online customer experiences is highly regarded.
