Surety Bond Account Manager



Our client is a well-established independent insurance brokerage and risk management firm serving commercial clients throughout the region. With approximately 100 employees, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering customized insurance and surety bond solutions through partnerships with leading insurance carriers. Responsibilities


  • Manage an existing book of commercial surety bond accounts while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, commercial clients, and carrier partners.
  • Process bid bonds, performance and payment bonds, riders, cancellations, renewals, and bond modifications.
  • Prepare submissions and negotiate bonding solutions with surety underwriters.
  • Manage policy renewals, billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, and related account servicing activities.
  • Coordinate with producers, underwriters, and internal leadership to ensure timely delivery of client solutions.
  • Respond to client questions regarding bonding requirements and coverage needs while assisting with claims support when necessary.
  • Balance multiple contractor accounts with strict bid deadlines while maintaining a high level of organization and accuracy.



Qualifications


  • 2+ years of experience in surety, commercial insurance, underwriting, or a related commercial lines environment.
  • Previous experience working for an insurance agency or carrier.
  • Property & Casualty License or the ability to obtain one shortly after hire.
  • Experience using agency management systems and carrier portals (AMS360 experience preferred).
