Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Role is also eligible for monthly and quarterly commission opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsible for managing the Admissions Department of the skilled nursing center to meet occupancy and revenue requirements. Partners with community’s, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) management, and external business development to execute sales and community business plans to achieve community goals. Associate in this role must have two (2) full-time associates reporting up to them.

 

  1. Facilities triage of new inquiries and referrals to expedite admissions and pre-admissions conversions.

  2. Coordinates pre-admission and admission process with interdisciplinary team in accordance with established policies and procedures.

  3. Maintains awareness and management of bed status/availability at all times. Ensures room readiness.

  4. Responds quickly and effectively to referral requests. Acts as a liaison between the referral sources, Brookdale, and the community.

  5. Ensures compliance and input into all referral portals, PacIQ and PCC CRM/ Document Manager for proper data tracking/trending.

  6. Communicates overview of upcoming admission to interdisciplinary team to ensure equipment needs, clinical snapshot, doctors, diagnosis, anticipated LOS, post-skilled disposition and special needs are met. Ensures appropriate supplies and marketing materials are available, ordered as needed, and within the department budget.

  7. Conducts tours for prospective patients and/or family members. Sells community benefits, answers questions, and obtains information about patient through discovery to offer solutions.

  8. Maintains budgeted occupancy and quality mix for skilled nursing communities.

  9. Maintains sales records, such as, referral/admission logs, electronic sales system, trends and conversion ratios.

  10. Provides reporting and forecasting to Healthcare Administrator, Executive Director, Regional Sales, Operations Teams and Business Development Teams, as requested.

  11. Represents the rehab/SNF in appropriate community, market or strategic sales meetings.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or other related field required. Minimum

five years experience professional experience in sales and marketing, including at least two years in a supervisory capacity required. Strong sales ability essential. Healthcare experience desirable; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
