Overview

The Global Operations Manager is responsible for leading operational excellence and partnering closely with global clients, internal cross-functional teams, and local market teams worldwide. This role oversees global financial operations, budget governance, billing, reconciliations, reporting, systems, and process optimization while ensuring operational consistency across multiple markets.

 

The ideal candidate has extensive experience supporting large global technology clients, navigating complex financial environments, and leading cross-functional teams. They are highly analytical, thrive in fast-paced global organizations, and possess exceptional financial and operational expertise. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple regions while driving operational efficiency and financial accuracy.

Responsibilities

Global Financial Operations & Budget Management

  • Manage end-to-end financial operations for a global account, including global client billing, budget management, forecasting, reconciliations, vendor payments, accounts receivable (AR), and cash flow reporting.
  • Ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of all client and agency financial deliverables while identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

Systems, Reporting & Technology

  • Serve as the operational lead for financial systems and reporting tools, including Lumina/Guideline, MBox/Prisma, Monday.com, SharePoint, OneTeam OS, and Microsoft Excel
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards, reporting, and automated workflows using advanced Excel functions, including complex formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and macros.

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable global operational processes and governance.
  • Develop ways to incorporate AI into current processes and reporting to enhance accuracy, streamline workflows, mitigate risk, and drive operational efficiencies across global market

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with Global Clients, Finance, Reconciliation, Planning, Investment, and local market teams to ensure operational alignment and successful execution of global initiatives.
  • Act as the primary operational contact for complex financial matters, audits, reporting requests, and strategic business initiatives.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Operations team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
  • Establish priorities, manage workloads, and drive accountability to ensure consistent delivery of operational excellence across the global account.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of operations or finance experience supporting large global clients, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex global financial operations, including budget management, client billing, reconciliations, vendor payments, accounts receivable, and cash flow reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel expertise, including complex formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query, VBA/macros, and financial modeling.
  • Strong working knowledge of Lumina/Guideline, MBox/Prisma, Monday.com, SharePoint, and other enterprise financial and project management systems.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience partnering with client stakeholders and cross-functional global teams
  • Outstanding project management, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment

Compensation Range: USD $75,050.00 - USD $115,024.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
