This is a hands-on support role for a IT support engineer who wants to grow into security with a hands-on approach to resolving complex IT issues. You keep employee’s productive day to day, and you work along side our security team on access, endpoints, MFA, and our Information security controls.
You'll work with the Sofia team, inside a wider international IT group across the US, Europe, and Singapore. You'll roll up your sleeves on real hardware, software, and network issues, and work closely with the rest of IT to keep our systems running and secure. There's a clear path to grow from support into security, system administrator or an application administrator.

What you'll do
- Tier 1 / Tier 2 support. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, application and access issues, in person and over the service desk.
- Endpoint management and security. Work closely with senior workplace specialists to manage, secure and keep devices compliant via our MDM for various Operating systems.
- Access and identity. Be the first face for new employees at Kiteworks in Europe facilitating onboarding while doing the IT onboarding including day-to-day Microsoft 365 and Active Directory / Entra ID administration (users, groups, MFA, mailboxes).
- Ticketing. Work on ad hoctickets as the service desk and work closely with your Tier3/Tier4 engineers to keep Kiteworks running smoothly
- Security posture. Spot and report policy gaps, and help gather evidence for the many certifications Kiteworks holds such asISO, FedRAMP, and Cyber essentials audits.
- Documentation. Keep run books, knowledge-base articles, and asset records accurate and current.
- Projects and vendors. Help with migrations, upgrades, and rollouts, and coordinate with vendors.
What you'll bring
- Experience of 3–5 years in desktop or IT support.
- Solid Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory / Entra ID and enterprise application
- A security mindset. You think about access, data, and risk before you act, not after.
- Hands-on troubleshooting. Clear, methodical problem-solving across hardware, software, and networking, with attention to detail.
- You will work in a fast-paced environment while growing into your role
- Excellent written and spoken English; the team is international. You can explain a technical issue to a non-technical colleague.
- Customer-focused, calm under pressure, organised across competing priorities, and a genuine team player.
Nice to have
- A security or IT certification, or clear progress toward one: CompTIA A+ or Security+, SC-900, AZ-900, Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator, or ITIL Foundation.
- Familiarity with endpoint protection tools and everyday security practices.
- Experience in a security-, compliance-, or audit-driven environment.

Compensation Range:
- Annual Base Salary Range: €30,000 – €35,000
- Base pay depends on many factors, such as location, education, experience, and skills. Base pay is only one part of Kiteworks competitive Total Rewards package that may include benefits, perks, equity, and bonuses. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
