Machinist - 2nd Shift

Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Machinist - 2nd Shift in Carol Stream, IL. The pay rate for this position is $28-$38 + $1.50 shift differential per hour. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time. ## What you’ll do: SUMMARY The Machinist will operate the Surface/Water Grinders and milling machines in the tool room. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Read and understand blueprints and piece prints • Understand and use a variety of measuring equipment • Good communication skills include the ability to receive and give oral and written instruction. • Ability to work in shop environment • Perform setup and operate surface/water grinders and milling machines ## Qualifications: Education: Minimum requirement is High School Diploma or GED Experience: No experience necessary, we are willing to train someone with mechanical aptitude/knowledge ## Skills: Skills/Abilities: * Basic math skills * Good communication skills * Ability to work well with a team * Detail oriented and ability to prioritize | * Dependable * Strong work ethic * Work ownership. ---|--- ## Additional Information: Physical Demands / Work Environment: The physical/work environment demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
