About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Manager to lead our REMIT reporting change programme, oversight, and compliance assurance across the wholesale energy and financial regulatory landscape.

This is a subject matter expert role, ideal for someone who combines deep regulatory reporting expertise with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and change delivery experience.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business and partner with colleagues in London, Poland, and India to strengthen reporting assurance, drive continuous improvement, and respond to an evolving regulatory environment
What you'll be doing:

Lead day-to-day oversight and assurance of regulatory reporting obligations, systems, processes, and controls.
Monitor and assess regulatory developments, translating complex requirements into practical business solutions.
Identify, assess, and manage regulatory reporting risks while driving effective remediation and control improvements.
Provide trusted advice and guidance to trading, commercial, and functional teams on reporting obligations.
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and establish the regulatory reporting team as a valued business partner.
Deliver training, support knowledge sharing, and help embed a strong compliance culture.
Drive simplification, standardisation, and operational efficiency across reporting activities.
Participate in industry forums and regulatory working groups, helping the organisation stay ahead of emerging requirements.
Support the development and optimisation of reporting controls through new technologies and innovative approaches.
What we're looking for:
Experience within commodity trading, energy markets, financial markets, or another regulated environment.
Strong knowledge of REMIT, including transaction reporting, oversight and assurance activities.
Experience leading or supporting other financial reporting obligations such as EMIR, MiFID II, MAS, ASIC, or similar frameworks will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of power, gas, LNG, or broader commodities markets.
Experience leading regulatory change programmes, business transformation initiatives, or complex compliance projects.
The ability to oversee regulatory reporting controls, identify risks, and implement sustainable solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience influencing senior leaders.
Experience leading teams, projects, or workstreams across multiple locations.
A collaborative approach with a passion for developing others and sharing knowledge.
What will help you stand out:
Direct experience leading REMIT reporting compliance delivery and operational oversight.
Exposure to transaction reporting frameworks and reporting assurance programmes.
Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks.
A background in wholesale energy market regulation and reporting operations.
