HR Systems Specialist
The HR Systems Specialist supports and maintains Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM applications with a primary focus on production support, incident management, and continuous process and system improvement through HR Help Desk. This role serves as a primary liaison between HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and Oracle Support to ensure production issues are resolved efficiently while maintaining system stability, service levels, and a positive user experience.
What you will do:
Manage, triage, prioritize, and resolve Oracle Cloud HCM production incidents and enhancement requests using Oracle HR Helpdesk, ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing systems.
Perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot application issues, identify system impacts, and coordinate resolutions with business users, IT teams, Oracle Support, and third-party vendors.
Support Oracle Cloud HCM modules including Payroll, Time and Labor, Absence Management, Benefits, Core HR, Recruiting, HR Help Desk, Compensation, Performance, Goals, Journeys, and Position Management.
Analyze business requirements and recommend scalable solutions that align with business processes, internal controls, and Oracle best practices.
Support security, approval workflows, organizational structures, employee self-service transactions, page configurations, scheduled processes, integrations, and related system administration activities.
Develop and support OTBI, BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, and FDI reports as needed for operational, compliance, and business reporting.
Coordinate system testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, quarterly Oracle release validation, and production deployments.
Communicate issue statuses, risks, priorities, resolution plans, and business impacts to stakeholders while supporting SLA commitments.
Create and maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, troubleshooting guides, business process notes, and standard operating procedures.
Identify recurring production issues and recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and system optimizations to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Five or more years of experience supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM applications.
Hands-on production support experience with HR Help Desk, Payroll, Time and Labor, Absence Management, Benefits, Core HR, and related HCM processes.
Experience managing production incidents, ticket triage, root cause analysis, change management, testing, and Oracle quarterly release validation.
Strong working knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM security, approvals, reporting, integrations, scheduled processes, and configuration dependencies.
Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, HDL, REST APIs, Redwood, and Fusion Data Intelligence preferred.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
