Patient Safety Technician, Full Time Evenings/Overnights, 3p-11p & 11p-7a, rotating weekends, Nursing Resource, Atlantic Health Newton Medical Center

Responsible for providing continuous observation and appropriate documentation on activity of an assigned patient who has been identified as having increased risk for injury. Primary responsibility for this role is to be a monitor tech for our virtual sitter platform, remotely monitoring patients via camera to ensure their safety. Team member will also be required to work bedside.


Principal Accountabilities:


1. Provides ADL's and protects Patients in Sitter and Spotter assignments from self-harm and prevent elopements. 
2. Makes continuous rounds. 
3. Assists with Activities of Daily Living. 
4. Assists with bathroom/ commode/incontinence care. 
5. Monitors Intake and Output. 
6. Performs preventive skin care, feeding mouth care, and changes bed linens when necessary. 
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Prior experience in Patient Care.
