Expected pay for this position is $36.39 - $47.63/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

This is an Hourly position.

$18,000 Sign on Bonus   Employees who participate in the 11/12 program receive a 40% premium on their base pay rate for all hours worked between 7:00 pm Friday and 7:30 am Monday. Other hours worked outside of this weekend time-frame are paid at the regular base rate. PTO and other paid benefit time is also paid at the regular base rate.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The MRI Technologist II 11/12 cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation. In addition, the technologist is responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care. Will be scheduled and required to work 11 out of every 12 weekends.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education:

- High School Diploma/ GED Graduate from accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program.

 

Licensure/ Certification:

- BLS American Heart Association. ARRT (MR) Advanced certification in MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).

 

Other Skills/ Knowledge:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Experience:

- 2 years’ radiography experience.

- 1 year MRI experience.

 

Licensure/ Certification:

- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R)
