The ideal candidate will be experienced in large-scale system design, cloud infrastructure solutions, and team leadership. This role blends technical expertise with strategic execution, aligning service level management strategies with organizational goals while optimizing performance across Windows Server and Azure/M365 environments. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and deploy multi-domain Windows Server environments across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.Collaborate with teams to define technical requirements, design solutions, and resolve complex system challenges. Oversee geographically dispersed WAN-connected systems ensuring availability and security. Apply project management and IT processes to deliver user-facing services efficiently. Architect and Manage Cloud InfrastructureLead operational activities in service optimizationProvide guidance to engineering team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and technical goals. Implement automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell) for streamlined deployments and operations. Ensure system compliance with security guidelinesDemonstrated success in delivering complex IT projects and user-facing services. Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of mentoring technical teams. Adept in aligning service levels and IT operations to organizational objectives for continuous improvement. Effective communicator skilled at translating technical requirements into actionable strategies. Technical Skills: Strong operational knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and solutions. Experience in designing secure cloud infrastructures within Azure IL4/IL5 environments. Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell for automation and deployment optimization. Deep understanding of Windows Server environments (2016/2019) and features including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Distributed File System (DFS). Knowledge of security configurations such as DISA STIGs, CIS benchmarks, or Azure Security standards.
