Develop regional market strategies informed by business demand, competitive dynamics, and regulatory landscapes. Manage relationships with brokers, landowners, developers, and government authorities to accelerate deal execution. Partner with internal teams (engineering, energy, community affairs, legal, finance) to ensure acquired sites can be advanced to development on schedule. Establish and track portfolio-level metrics on deal velocity, pipeline health, and transaction risk. Drive due diligence processes, ensuring proactive identification and mitigation of legal, zoning, and entitlement risks. Bachelor's degree in business management, real estate, project management, or related field, AND 7+ years relevant experience. OR 10+ years equivalent experience. 7+ years people management experience. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 15+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, land strategy, or large-scale infrastructure development. 10+ years of people management experience, including leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams across multiple locations and functions. Proven success sourcing, structuring, and negotiating complex, high-value real estate transactions across multiple jurisdictions. Deep understanding of land use, zoning, permitting, and entitlement processes in US markets. Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams in geographically dispersed environments. Experience developing and executing regional land acquisition and development strategies aligned with broader organizational objectives. Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior executives, external partners, and government agencies. Ability to navigate ambiguity, balance competing priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
