This position will be located located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program.This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. What You Will Get To Do: Analyzes, researches and develops structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design, or operation of product to include structures, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronics, power plant, armament, heating and ventilating, equipment and maintenance designs. Analyzes damage tolerance, durability, design allowables and structural modeling. Specific structural engineering specialties may include dynamics and loads, stability and stress fatigue and thermal analysis. Tools utilized may include NX, ANSYS, and a variety of engineering software applications. As part of the Sentinel Support Equipment team, your technical expertise and analytical prowess will play a vital role in structural analysis. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. Basic Qualifications: This position can be filled at the Structural Engineer (T2) or Principal Structural Engineer (T3) level. Structural Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 2 years of experience, 1 year of experience with Master's degree * Must be a US Citizen with the ability to gain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance, or currently hold an active clearance and investigation completed within the last 5 years * 1+ Yrs of experience performing...
