New Equipment Supervisor, Field Service


Role Overview

OTIS is growing, and we are looking for a talented New Equipment Supervisor (Project Manager) to lead and manage volume installation and construction projects, while supporting our distributor network across the region (15 countries).


Key Responsibilities


1. Project Management
• Manage projects end‑to‑end, covering the full lifecycle: planning, execution, technical support, and close-out
• Prepare cost estimations and ensure alignment with project budgets
• Monitor and manage project financials, including accounts receivable and payable
• Maintain professional communication with customers and main contractors; participate in commercial and technical negotiations
• Lead conflict resolution processes with customers in alignment with OTIS business objectives
• Coordinate with manufacturing facilities to define and calculate modernization and upgrade solutions
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and customers throughout all project stages
• Support preparation and review of commercial offers and contractual documentation
• Organize and lead customer meetings; provide regular project status updates
Supervise installation completion and ensure all technical, administrative, and regulatory requirements are met for final handover

2. Technical Process Control & Coordination
• Handle customer claims, complaints, and warranty cases
• Work closely with factories, technical experts, and field teams
• Organize and deliver technical and product training for sales teams, service engineers, and distributors
• Ensure compliance with OTIS safety standards, local regulations, and certification requirements
• Lead technical alignment meetings with factories to confirm solutions and gather engineering data
• Travel to customer and distributor sites within Kazakhstan and internationally

3. Financial & Administrative Control
• Prepare commercial proposals, variation orders, and cost estimates for additional scope
• Monitor contractual obligations and milestone performance
• Prepare management reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinate with the Legal Department on claims, disputes, and contractual matters

4. Partner & Subcontractor Management
• Organize and conduct meetings with customers, partners, and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and requirements
• Coordinate subcontractor activities, including review and approval of proposals for installation and services

5. Training & Certification
• Organize training programs and certification processes for employees and partners
• Develop training materials and conduct instructional sessions
• Ensure subcontractors and local teams are certified in accordance with OTIS standards across CIS countries
• Implement structured training programs for contractors, distributors, and service teams

6. Service Project Oversight
• Provide support from a service and maintenance perspective across projects
• Interact directly with customers regarding service quality and performance
• Coordinate corrective actions to address deficiencies and ensure compliance with OTIS standards
• Support development of spare parts sales and modernization solutions
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the elevator and escalator industry
• Experience in a similar role (project management / field operations)
• Proven people management experience with strong leadership skills

• Ability to coach, train, and develop teams
• Strong customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
• Fluent in Russian; English at Intermediate level or higher

• Working schedule: Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00
