As Principal Compensation and Benefits Analyst at Micron Technology, Inc. for APAC, you will be responsible for regional support of Micron’s Total Rewards programs with primary focus on Singapore, China and Korea. You will work under the direction of the Director for APAC Total Rewards. You will also be responsible for supporting continuous improvement of global rewards program and assist in the evaluation of the efficiency of the programs. You will help to evaluate Micron's reward competitiveness and alignment to the company’s business strategy and culture. You will partner, collaborate and advise key customers and internal partners globally.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Manage Regional and Local Compensation & Benefits Programs

Benchmark current programs on a regular cadence and as requested for continuous improvement

Evaluate program for inefficiencies and areas for improvement

Work with internal partners and customers to identify and implement needed plan changes

Gather and review employee and/or management feedback, current and future needs and industry trends

Communicate and coordinate changes with impacted personnel team members, vendors, and management

Develop and maintain program documentation and team member reference materials

Ensure legal compliance

Support team member onboarding/offboarding activities relating to those programs

Manage Global Pay Equity Program

Co-lead the end-to-end global pay equity strategy, including annual equity review cycles, remediation frameworks, and roadmap evolution.

Establish consistent global standards while tailoring implementation for key regions

Serve as the subject matter expert on pay equity across HR, and leadership teams.

Define the analytic methodology and governance

Execute statistical pay equity analyses with the relevant control factors

Partner with HRIS/People Analytics to ensure data integrity and completeness

Develop and operationalize global remediation frameworks

Own requirements for pay equity tools and platforms

Continuously enhance methodology with new data fields and advanced analytics

Consult, Educate and Be A Great Partner with Customers

Identify, clarify and research employee needs and address program questions

Evaluate and critique options to recommend solution that the best fit customer needs and align to business objectives and budget

Develop and review proposed solution and cost modeling with vital internal experts and partners

Build and provide training to managers and team members regularly on Total Rewards topics

Solicit process feedback from global customers and peers and implement improvements

Communicate and establish relationships and credibility with key contacts (site leaders, area leaders, business partners, executives)

Conduct New Job Analysis and Maintain Job Inventories

Interview leaders and/or business partners to identify job description

Determine best match by researching against current job library and other third party survey benchmark jobs

Identify justification if a new job is needed (business, geographic, regulatory, population size)

Determine recommended actions and follow-up with customers

Build new job and update all reference material

Ensure Regulatory Compliance

Keep up to date on the understanding of regulations and potential changes

Consult with internal and external authorities

Identify liabilities, recommend and implement solutions

Implement, communicate, and maintain ongoing compliance processes where applicable

Establish and Maintain Pay Ranges

Submit and collect data through third party market surveys

Evaluate job matches to market for validity and analyze data

Make recommendations for change to ranges based on comp philosophy and strategy

Consult with Executives and business partner to validate ranges

Perform continued evaluation

Produce and Analyze Compensation & Benefits Reports

Assess needs, design, generate, maintain and distribute reports as needed to key customers and partners

Analyze, interpret and present results to appropriate partners

Complete modeling scenarios, develop recommendations and generate evaluation summaries based on data

Maintain Compensation & Benefits Data and Systems

Receive, evaluate, process and audit data change request and results

Update, troubleshoot and resolve system errors as needed

Perform detailed global system testing

Ensure data integrity in existing systems

Raise issues to appropriate party(s) and validate issue resolution

Projects (Within function and cross-functional)

Participate in project teams as a representative of the Total Rewards team and act as the regional subject matter authority to provide counsel, advice and support

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in related field

Must be able to leverage and apply artificial intelligence into every day work

Must have advanced Microsoft Excel Skills

PowerPoint and Word proficiency

Ability to analyze data, identify data quality issues, and provide solutions or approaches to solve data problems with fair amount of knowledge in statistical methods.

Very strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese

Excellent interpersonal and time management skills

Minimum 10 years of Compensation & Benefits experience in reputed tech companies

Preferred

CCP or GRP designation
