We are seeking an Advisor, Corporate Strategy & Fundamentals to support the development, coordination, and communication of Enbridge’s strategic direction across the enterprise. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Strategy & Fundamentals, you will help shape corporate strategy through research, market analysis, and insights into key energy fundamentals. What You Will Do:
Support the development and coordination of Enbridge’s Corporate Strategic Plan through research, strategic analysis, and preparation of decision-ready materials for Senior Leadership and the Board.
Partner with Business Units to develop Annual Strategic Business Unit Plans by providing analysis of energy market fundamentals, industry trends, and strategic opportunities.
Assess energy fundamentals, market dynamics, economic conditions, policy developments, and geopolitical factors to inform strategic recommendations.
Develop analysis and insights to evaluate strategies that create, preserve, and enhance enterprise value.
Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to build perspectives on the energy industry and emerging trends impacting Enbridge’s business.
Track and interpret key strategic metrics, market indicators, and signposts to assess implications for Enbridge’s future direction.
Support the preparation of Executive Leadership Team and Board-level materials, senior leadership forums, strategic planning sessions, and enterprise-wide strategy communications.
Who You Are:
University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline; an MBA is considered an asset.
4+ years of relevant experience in strategy, energy, finance, corporate development, consulting, or a related field.
Strong understanding of business fundamentals and value drivers within the energy sector, including pipelines, utilities, renewables, or related industries.
Demonstrated ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative research, synthesize complex information, and develop actionable insights and recommendations.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to create concise, executive-level materials and compelling strategic narratives.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with experience using market research and financial analysis tools considered an asset.
Collaborative relationship-builder with strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to leverage emerging AI tools to enhance research, analysis, and productivity.
Preferred:
Experience using market and financial research platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ or similar tools), combined with a strong understanding of finance and financial modeling, is considered a valuable asset.
