Project Manager & Business Analyst (Digital Transformation team)

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Digital Transformation team at Marsh. This role will be based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The purpose of this role is to act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring alignment between business requirements and system development to support successful project delivery.

You will also contribute to project planning and coordination, handle key administrative responsibilities, and take ownership of essential project management activities to help ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

We will count on you to:

  • Understand business needs and translate them into objectives and into clear functional specifications and ensure traceability throughout the project life cycle.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business needs and requirements from stakeholders.
  • Manage changes and conflicts in requirements, assess impact, and propose practical solutions.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities across all phases, ensuring alignment with scope, deadlines, and budget.
  • Identify risks and issues early, and support mitigation actions to keep projects on track;
  • Facilitate communication between business, technical, and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and shared understanding.
  • Track progress, monitor deliverables, and validate outputs against agreed requirements.
  • Lead follow-up meetings, prepare status updates, and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Support solution validation and testing to ensure requirements are met.
  • Support data and reporting requests where needed.

What you need to have:

  • A university degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Mathematics, Management, Finance, Data Science, Business Administration, or similar.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management.
  • Experience in business analysis or requirements gathering is highly valued.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an organized approach.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other data analysis tools.
  • Native Portuguese proficiency.
  • Fluent English, minimum C1.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and emotional intelligence skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.
