As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working with integrity and teamwork to support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the property, including building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
