Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Research Assistant, you will perform routine clinical research activities under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator, Research Nurse Clinician, and Research Specialist. Your contributions will be critical for the accurate, ethical execution of research protocols.Every day you will meticulously collect and organize research data, ensuring accuracy and completeness, then conscientiously report it as requested by the research team.To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong attention to detail, adherence to research protocols, excellent organizational skills, and maintain strict confidentiality.

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Assists with scheduling patients within required protocol windows.
  • Obtains and processes specimens under direction of research nurse/coordinator.
  • Follows established protocols for safe packing and shipping of hazardous materials.
  • Ensures study supplies are available and adequate.
  • Ensures appropriate internal/external customer service by demonstrating professional interactions with Sponsor, study monitors and other departments.

Job Requirements

Required

  • High School Diploma Graduate and related college or certification course work
  • Previous experience in a health care setting

Preferred

  • Associates Degree
  • Previous clinical research experience
