The Sr. Director, Global Marketing is responsible for leading Mammotome’s marketing organization across upstream product management, downstream marketing, creative services, marketing communications, digital marketing, professional education. This leader owns portfolio strategy, the annual marketing planning process, launch priorities, brand standards, customer engagement programs, and demand generation across U.S. and international markets.
This position reports to the Vice President, Global Commercial Sales and is part of the Global Commercial team located onsite in Cincinnati Ohio.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Lead and develop the marketing organization, including upstream product management, downstream marketing, creative services, digital marketing, marketing communications, professional education, and related agency or vendor partners.
• Set clear priorities, operating rhythms, and performance expectations for the team, with an emphasis on accountability, cross-functional execution, and talent development.
• Lead portfolio strategy and roadmap development, including market assessment, customer insights, competitive analysis, segmentation, positioning, lifecycle management, and prioritization of product investments.
• Own the annual marketing planning process and ensure plans are linked to business objectives, regional growth priorities, launch timing, resource requirements, and measurable outcomes.
• Translate global strategy into practical go-to-market plans, sales enablement tools, campaigns, events, customer education, and field execution support.
• Oversee launch planning and execution for new products, line extensions, and lifecycle initiatives, including launch readiness, messaging, training, demand generation, and post-launch performance tracking.
• Direct creative services and marketing communications, including trade shows, graphic design, website content, email, social media, video, collateral, brand standards, and internal and external communications related to commercial priorities.
The essential requirements of the job include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 15+ years of relevant commercial experience, including upstream product management and downstream marketing across multiple product categories, geographies, or customer segments, across the product lifecycle, from market assessment and concept development through launch, growth, lifecycle management, and discontinuation; managing marketing communications, creative services, trade shows, digital marketing, and professional education programs either directly or through functional leaders; partnering with regional commercial leaders to adapt global marketing strategy for local execution in the U.S. and international markets.
• 5+ years leading medical device marketing teams in a regulated environment including marketing claims, customer communications, product launches, education programs, and digital content considerations.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
• Ability to travel regularly for customer-focused meetings and trade show activations; domestic and international travel are required.
• Typical work-related travel assignments range 2-8 days, and overnight, out-of-town stays are required.
• Physical demands may include occasionally walking, sitting, standing, using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reaching with hands and arms, balancing, stooping, bending, talking, and hearing.
• Most work is performed in an office environment setting with adequate lighting and temperature; the noise level is usually quiet to moderate.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
• MBA or advanced degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• Global marketing leadership experience across varied customer needs, market maturity, reimbursement dynamics, channel models, and regional commercial priorities.
• Experience building marketing capabilities, improving processes, and developing multidisciplinary teams that support business priorities.

The annual salary range for this role is $210,000-$230,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
