How You Will Make an Impact:
- Project Coordination and Administration — 30%
- Manage priorities, project plans, deadlines, and action items.
- Coordinate meetings, calendars, logistics, materials, and follow-up.
- Support communications with internal teams and external partners.
- Manage travel, events, expenses, and other administrative needs.
- Ensure commitments are completed and important details do not fall through the cracks.
- Market Analysis and Commercialization — 30%
- Conduct market, customer, competitor, business, and financial research.
- Support market sizing, business cases, reporting, and commercialization plans.
- Evaluate potential customers, use cases, partners, business models, and routes to market.
- Translate complex information into clear recommendations and executive presentations.
- Special Projects and Problem-Solving — 40%
- Take ownership of high-priority and often ambiguous projects.
- Quickly assess unfamiliar challenges and determine the path forward.
- Identify roadblocks, develop practical solutions, and coordinate execution.
- Support strategic partnerships, new business opportunities, events, and time-sensitive initiatives.
- Step into gaps and do what is needed to achieve the desired outcome.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in business operations, project coordination, market research, consulting, strategy, or a related role.
- Exceptional organizational and project-management skills.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Impeccable judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
- High initiative, accountability, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-moving environment.
- Genuine interest in technology, engineering, innovation, and commercialization.
- Must be able to work on-site at DEKA five days per week and respond to occasional urgent requests outside standard business hours.
