Your role and responsibilitiesAs a Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Lead, you will serve in a client-facing, billable delivery role supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations and finance transformation programs. You will work directly with CFOs, controllers, finance leaders, and business stakeholders to understand finance priorities, lead workshops, shape solution design, and deliver practical D365 Finance capabilities across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash and Bank, Credit and Collections, Cost Accounting, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead client-facing finance workstreams across discovery, design, build, test, cutover, and post-go-live support.
- Facilitate workshops with CFOs, controllers, finance directors, and process owners to define requirements,validateprocesses, andalign ondesign decisions.
- Translate finance priorities into fit-to-standard D365 Finance solutions that support close, reporting, controls, compliance, working capital, and operational efficiency.
- Configure and advise on D365 Finance capabilities including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash and Bank, Credit and Collections, Cost Accounting, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.
- Support executive conversations by clearly explaining solution options, tradeoffs, risks, dependencies, and business value.
- Manage finance backlog items, design decisions, scope, risks, issues, and deliverables in coordination with client and IBM project leadership.
- Support sales and pursuit activities through estimates, solution input, proposal content, and client presentations as needed.
- Partner with technical, data, integration, reporting, security, change management, and offshore teams to deliver an integrated finance solution.
- Support finance data migration, testing, reconciliation, training, cutover, and stabilization activities.
- Coach junior consultants and client resources while maintaining high-quality, billable delivery standards.
This role can be performed from anywhere in the United States.
Required education Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise- 10+ years of finance, accounting, ERP, or finance transformation experience, including 5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations experience.
- Deep functional knowledge of core finance processes including Record-to-Report,Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Cost Accounting, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.
- Proven experience in client-facing consulting or billable delivery roles, including workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, documentation, and solution ownership.
- Ability to engage CFO-level and senior finance stakeholders and connect D365 Finance capabilities to business outcomes.
- Experience designingchartof accounts, financial dimensions, account structures, posting profiles, allocations, intercompany, period close, and reporting structures.
- Track recorddelivering full lifecycle ERP implementations using Agile, hybrid Agile, or Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, testing cycles, data migration, cutover planning, and post-go-live support.
- Strong communication, analytical, commercial, and delivery management skills across onshore and offshore teams.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, reporting/analytics, workflow automation, and Copilot/AI-enabled finance capabilities preferred.
• Advanced Consulting Skills: Experience with managing complex consulting projects, leveraging expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to drive business transformation and process improvement.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Distrubtion industry business processes and requirements, enabling effective integration of Dynamics 365 FnO modules into clients' business environments.
• Technical Leadership: Ability to guide and mentor junior consultants in the selection, configuration, testing, and support of Dynamics 365 applications.

For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
