Centrifuge Field Service Technician
Travel to well site locations and will be responsible for rigging up, servicing, trouble-shooting, and tearing down of specialized equipment related to assisting operations. Travel can be regional for extended periods of time and is performed outdoors in all weather conditions and is physically demanding.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, service, and dismantle equipment at customer sites as required;
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in the field;
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer requests and service calls;
- Deliver hotshot requests and install equipment when required;
- Communicate effectively with engineers, rig personnel, supervisors, clients, and other stakeholders;
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and operational teams;
- Diagnose equipment issues and provide guidance to operators on proper maintenance and operation;
- Complete and maintain accurate service and maintenance records;
- Follow all NOV policies and procedures, including safety, vehicle use, housekeeping, and documentation requirements;
- Represent NOV professionally at all times;
- Assist in shop operations as required by the supervisor;
- Work a variable schedule, including 24-hour on-call support;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Up to 3 years of oilfield experience required.
- Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

HSE Requirements
- Shop environment orientation (exits, fire extinguishers, first aid & eyewash stations, spill kits, propane storage) and yard environment (building locations, processes)
- Standing, walking, squatting, bending, reaching, and walking (further details to be reviewed on JHA)
- Training on proper usage of PPE if exposed to noise, dust and fumes
- Pre-Employment testing including a 50-lbs fit to work test
