About the Team
Join the USBA Account Services team, also known as the New Account Application Team, supporting U.S. Bank's investment and brokerage operations. This team plays a critical role in opening and maintaining investment accounts, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and processed efficiently. Working closely with internal field representatives and investment advisors, you'll help support a seamless client onboarding and account maintenance experience behind the scenes.
As an Investment Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing investment account requests, performing quality control on documentation, and maintaining account information within brokerage systems. What You'll Do
- Review account documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Perform quality control checks on new account and maintenance requests.
- Open new investment and brokerage accounts.
- Update existing account information and records.
- Process account maintenance requests within Wealthscape and other operational systems.
- Manage and prioritize work from assigned processing queues.
- Respond to requests and questions from internal field representatives and investment advisors.
- Follow established procedures while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
- Support a variety of account types, including brokerage accounts, IRAs, and Roth IRAs.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four or more years of related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience in financial services, banking, investments, brokerage operations, or a related industry.
- Familiarity with investment products such as brokerage accounts, IRAs, Roth IRAs, and retirement accounts.
- Experience processing documentation or conducting quality reviews in an operations environment.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Thorough knowledge of the computer applications used in the assigned area
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to operate various types of office equipment
- Strong customer service and relations skills
- Ability to identify and resolve/escalate problems
- Advanced mathematical and/or accounting skills
- Good data entry skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Location Expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
