How you’ll make an impact in this role

Actively shape the next generation of future Women's Health providers by joining the academic team dedicated to the education and training of Dell Medical School OB/GYN residents.  A beautiful tower dedicated to supporting comprehensive women's health with a patient centered focus will open in the summer of 2026.

  • Deliver comprehensive, full-scope OB/GYN care across both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring a seamless and patient-centered experience within our brand-new, state-of-the-art women's health tower.

  • Lead the clinical education and mentorship of residents and medical students as a key academic partner with Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin.

  • Collaborate with an elite, multidisciplinary team of subspecialists—including MFM, Gyn Oncology, and Urogynecology—to provide sophisticated, coordinated care for complex patient cases.

  • Drive clinical innovation by developing and participating in research programs that evaluate and implement cutting-edge care paradigms for women's health.

  • Provide inpatient care at at new state of the art Ascension Seton Women's Hospital with patient care moving from Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin, named by U.S. News & World Report as a "High Performing" hospital for Maternity Care in its 2026 ratings

 

About the Practice

  • Practice Setting:  Mix of Inpatient/Outpatient
  • Academic department offers a full range of Women's Health specialties 
  • Time is split between the outpatient clinic, inpatient Ascension Seton Women's Hospital, and Dell Medical School didactics 
  • Experienced group of 4 MD's, 1 FNP-C at clinic location
  • Part of large academic team with 40 Women's Health physicians
  • DaVinci robotics surgical system
  • Davis Lane location primarily serves the south Austin population of approximately 130,000 with an established referral base
  • Employed physician with full support within a nonprofit Catholic health system

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
