Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to support and demonstrate excellence to our Merrimack production workforce. As a System Administrator SR, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Responsibilities:

• Daily management of the ServiceNow dashboard
• Providing clear communication during and after troubleshooting incident tickets
• Ensuring quick resolution times for incidents and requests through the facility
• Collaborating with other BAE IT groups to ensure IT assets meet security compliance standards
• Serving as an escalation point for other System Administrators
• Leading projects, initiatives, or audits from an IT perspective to ensure a positive outcome for the stakeholders that is on time and on budget. This will include involving other required IT teams, vendors, etc.
• Creating, deploying, and maintaining server infrastructure
• Creating and maintaining documentation
• Demonstrate a leadership mentality while being ready and able to fill in temporarily for a people-leader if the need arises
• Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in an area that may be required by your manager to fill out an area of weakness in the team.
• Demonstrate ability to work with stakeholders, especially engineering and vendors, to ensure all test stands and production equipment is working as expected, delivering excellent IT service.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time onsite position
• Weekly on-call rotation with other System Administrators

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Requirements:

• Typically High School Diploma with 8+ years experience or equivalent experience
• CompTIA Security+ Certification
• Leadership capabilities

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of experience or equivalent experience
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Server Virtualization and Management
• Backup Infrastructure Management
• Networking Fundamentals (VLANs, Protocols, IPv4 Configurations)
• Experience with a wide range of Windows OSs (Windows 98 to Windows 11)
• Windows PowerShell Scripting experience

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
