The Opportunity

Downer's Energy & Utilities Telecommunications business is looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator Team Lead to lead a team of four Logistics Coordinators supporting critical telecommunications projects nationally.

Reporting to the Logistics & Inventory Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing daily logistics operations, inventory performance, warehouse governance and material availability to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.

Acting as a key link between clients, project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and warehouse partners, you'll play a vital role in ensuring construction teams have the materials they need, when they need them.

This is an exciting opportunity for a logistics professional who enjoys combining operational leadership with supply chain analytics, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver tangible business outcomes across a national operation.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, mentor and support a team of Logistics Coordinators to deliver exceptional logistics and inventory services.
  • Coordinate material movements and stock availability to support construction and project delivery requirements across Australia.
  • Partner with clients, project teams, suppliers and 3PL warehouse providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
  • Analyse inventory and demand data to identify risks, improve forecasting accuracy and reduce aged or excess stock.
  • Support logistics governance, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives across Downer's national warehouse network.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to lead a high-performing national logistics team within a growing telecommunications business.
  • Exposure to large-scale infrastructure and telecommunications projects across Australia.
  • Career development opportunities supported by leadership and development programs including THRIVE and EmpowHER.
  • Access to Perks@Downer, offering discounts and benefits across health, wellbeing, retail, travel and more.
  • Dedicated internal mobility and succession planning programs focused on long-term career growth.
  • Be part of a Tier 1 ASX-listed organisation with industry-leading in-house capabilities and diverse project opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in logistics, inventory, warehousing or supply chain operations, ideally within a project-based or national environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to coach, motivate and coordinate high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical capability with advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using data to drive operational decisions.
  • Experience working with warehouse operations and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong customer-focused mindset.
