Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our shared services team.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for P&L and balance sheet accounting for assigned areas to include journal entries, account reconciliations, account analysis, and schedules. Responsible for job costing, calculating and recording percent of completion (POC)
  • Research and investigate financial variances for monthly fluctuation analysis (P&L and balance sheet); resolve in an expeditious manner
  • Maintain corporate add backs schedule for all BUs to ensure we have support for all bridge items to Adjusted EBITDA. Assist with month end intercompany account reconciliation
  • Prepare business process documentation for core activities. Identify, make recommendations and implement process improvements
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related 
  • 7+ years’ experience in accounting 
  • Experience in job costing 
  • Experienced in complex accounting matters and in applying US GAAP 
  • Experience in the application of accrual accounting for hard month-end close cut-off 
  • Demonstrates strong Excel skills and analytic thinking 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence all levels within an organization 
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives 
  • Ability to identify and implement process optimization strategies 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • CPA or Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance or related 
  • Public accounting experience 
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and other support applications 
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills 

 

Pay Range: The salary range for this position is $100,000-110,000 annually. The starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
