Technician Trainer II

I. Job Summary
Delivers, assesses and coaches the designated training curricula according to the needs of the organization as determined by the leadership and training teams. Completes the final evaluation and conducts the final coaching session to determine participants passing or failing the course. Conducts and mentors the train-the-trainer process for new Technicians. Conducts TTT sessions for new or updated courses at the Training Center.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reports schedule, participant attendance, and evaluations to the Training Coordinator in order to maintain accurate training participation records.
- Delivers curricula demonstrating adult and accelerated learning techniques.
- Assesses and coaches individual participant performance following training through observation as appropriate to measure the impact of learning to specific business results
- Completes final evaluations and conducts final coaching session with participants at the completion of course.
- Determines pass or fail on course for each participant and provides field site their final assessment and recommendation for On-the-job training.
- Conducts train-the-trainer sessions for designated trainers of curricula.
- Provides ongoing training and mentoring to Technicians.
- Maintains knowledge of training or company procedures through reading and interpreting general business periodicals and professional journals.
- Communicates with other trainers and managers about operations, participant issues, and training needs to perform job.
- Conducts Leadership training for Fleet Manager curricula.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
III. Qualifications
A. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
- 6 years of prior fleet/maintenance experience in the trucking industry
- 1 year of training experience.

Pay:The expected base pay range for this on site position is $80K - $98K This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
