Hourly Pay Range:

$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Surgical Scheduler - Urology

  • Location: 1200 S York Street, Elmhurst, IL

  • Full Time: 40 hours a week

  • Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST.

  • Required Travel: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What you will do:

  • Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, this position is responsible for scheduling surgeries for the department.  Collaborates with other team members to assist in problem resolution to identify the most efficient schedule.    

What you will need:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to communicate using both written and verbal skills

  • Proficiency with organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Analytical skills in order to maintain and modify the scheduling module

Preferred:

  • A minimum of three months previous business office OR healthcare based experience

  • Previous insurance, managed care, and integrative medicine experience preferred

  • Medical terminology or coding experience

  • One year of EPIC experience

  • Bilingual Spanish helpful, but not required
