Your role and responsibilities
As a Technical Support Representative for Hybrid Cloud Services, you will utilize your expertise in multiple towers, clouds, tools, and technologies to solve medium to complex problems with minimal assistance. You will independently manage small-scale projects from start to finish, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Manage Infrastructure Resources: Provision and manage infrastructure resources using code, ensuring seamless integration, consistency, and automation in the cloud environment. This involves streamlining infrastructure management and reducing manual intervention.
• Perform Lower-Level Engineering Tasks: Install new or rebuild existing servers, configure hardware, and manage services, settings, directories, and storage requirements on a daily basis.
• Ensure Seamless Integration: Utilize in-depth knowledge of the client's environment to ensure seamless integration and consistency in the cloud environment.
• Automate Infrastructure Management: Apply knowledge of cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and automation tools to automate infrastructure management and reduce manual intervention.
• Provide Technical Support: Solve medium to complex problems with minimal assistance, providing technical support for Hybrid Cloud Services.
Required technical and professional expertise
• Exposure to Multiple Towers and Clouds: Experience working with various towers, clouds, tools, and technologies, with the ability to solve medium to complex problems with minimal assistance.
• Hands-on Experience with Infrastructure Management: Exposure to provisioning and managing infrastructure resources using code, ensuring seamless integration, consistency, and automation in the cloud environment.
• Familiarity with Lower-Level Engineering Tasks: Experience performing daily lower-level engineering tasks, such as installing new or rebuilding existing servers, configuring hardware, and managing services, settings, directories, and storage requirements.
• Understanding of Cloud Technologies and DevOps: Exposure to cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and automation tools, enabling the ability to streamline infrastructure management and reduce manual intervention.
• Experience with Technical Support: Experience providing technical support for Hybrid Cloud Services, solving medium to complex problems with minimal assistance.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Cloud Technologies Knowledge: Exposure to cloud technologies, enabling the ability to streamline infrastructure management and reduce manual intervention. This includes understanding cloud-based infrastructure and its applications.
• DevOps Practices Familiarity: Exposure to DevOps practices, allowing for efficient infrastructure management and reduced manual intervention. This involves understanding the principles of continuous integration and delivery.
• Automation Tools Understanding: Exposure to automation tools, enabling the ability to automate infrastructure management and reduce manual intervention. This includes understanding the application of automation scripts and tools.
