The Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Electrical Fire Supervisor to join our growing team in Brisbane. In this role, you will lead and support a team of fire services technicians, overseeing service delivery, quoting, tendering, installations, inspections, and day-to-day operational performance.

 

This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations, contract requirements, KPIs, and relevant compliance standards. You will work closely with technicians, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure high-quality outcomes across fire services works.

 

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, proven leadership capability, and a practical understanding of fire services, maintenance, installation, and service delivery environments. You will be confident mentoring team members, troubleshooting technical issues, managing priorities, and supporting a positive, high-performing team culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading, mentoring, and supporting a team of fire services technicians and apprentices
  • Overseeing daily service delivery to ensure works meet KPIs, client expectations, and contract requirements
  • Supporting quoting, tendering, and installation works across fire services projects and maintenance activities
  • Conducting site inspections, reviewing works, and ensuring quality standards are maintained
  • Providing technical troubleshooting and guidance to team members where required
  • Approving timesheets, monitoring performance, and supporting team productivity
  • Running toolbox talks and promoting safe work practices across the team
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
  • Preparing reports, attending client meetings, and supporting agenda preparation and minutes where required
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with company policies, safety requirements, and relevant regulations
  • Responding to operational changes, urgent works, and emergency service requirements as needed
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across service delivery, team performance, and client outcomes

 

Your Skills, Experience & Attributes

  • Trade licence and demonstrated experience within the fire services industry
  • Proven experience leading, supervising, or mentoring technicians in a service delivery environment
  • Strong technical knowledge across fire services maintenance, installation, quoting, and compliance requirements
  • Experience overseeing quoting, tendering, service works, and installation activities
  • Strong understanding of safety requirements, compliance standards, and quality service delivery
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Strong administrative capability, including confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using IWMS, CMMS, or similar work management systems
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and respond quickly to operational changes
  • Flexible, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving capability
  • Valid driver’s licence, including ability to drive a manual vehicle
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar leadership role highly regarded
  • Full working rights in Australia essential
