Marketing Generalist
4 Years Bengaluru Full-TimeWho We Are:
Testsigma is building the world's first Quality Intelligence Platform — AI-powered, agent-driven, and designed to make software testing intelligent rather than just automated. Our platform learns your application, your history, and your domain. It doesn't just generate tests — it understands risk, detects gaps, and gives teams the confidence to release. We're at an inflection point: the product is proven, design partners are live, and we're now building the team that defines this category for the next decade. Why This Role Exists:
As Testsigma scales, our brand needs to show up everywhere our buyers and users already are, and the engine behind marketing needs to run without friction. This role sits at the intersection of brand-building and operations: putting Testsigma in front of the right audiences through events and community, growing visibility through the stories and channels that build category trust, and owning the systems, data, and process that let a high-output marketing org run at scale. This is a builder's role — you'll create these motions from the ground up, not maintain an existing playbook. What You'll Own:
- Events Marketing: Own end-to-end execution of webinars, field events, trade shows, and virtual experiences — from planning through logistics, speaker/vendor coordination, and post-event follow-up — to generate qualified pipeline, build product awareness, and deepen customer engagement.
- Community Building: Build and scale an engaged community for Testsigma's users and QA/engineering practitioners on Discord, Slack, and similar platforms — driving discussions, moderating, and turning community members into advocates.
- Brand & Growth Marketing: Strengthen Testsigma's brand through social media, creator and influencer collaborations, podcasts, video marketing, and customer stories — and run integrated GTM campaigns that increase visibility and generate demand.
- Marketing Process & Tooling: Build, test, deploy, and optimize email campaigns and automated nurture workflows in HubSpot; own marketing workflows, campaign operations, and project intake; administer marketing automation, CRM, and martech integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot); monitor deliverability and campaign performance; support A/B testing; manage data hygiene, lists, and segmentation.
- Measurement & Reporting: Track marketing KPIs — campaign performance, lead generation, funnel conversion, pipeline contribution, and ROI; build dashboards on campaign performance, pipeline, and spend; track attribution and surface insights for marketing leadership.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to understand goals and needs, and align cross-functional teams on automation and campaign execution.
- Project Management: Lead multiple marketing and automation initiatives simultaneously, prioritizing for the highest-value outcomes and delivering on time and within scope.
What We're Looking For:
- 2–5 years in B2B marketing and/or marketing operations, demand generation, or business operations — with hands-on ownership of the full lifecycle, not just a piece of it.
- Experience running events (virtual or in-person) end to end, and/or experience building or growing an online community.
- Comfort with marketing automation, CRM, and reporting tools — hands-on with HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, or LinkedIn Analytics.
- An analytical, process-first thinker with strong attention to detail, paired with a sharp sense of brand and storytelling.
- Comfortable working across multiple workstreams at once, with the judgment to prioritize when everything feels urgent.
- Sharp written and verbal communication — you can brief a vendor, pitch a creator, write copy that doesn't read like generic B2B, and turn data into a clear recommendation.
- A bias for action — you'd rather ship an imperfect event, campaign, or workflow and improve it than wait for the perfect plan.
- Exposure to SaaS and high-output marketing teams.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience in a QA, DevTools, or developer-focused B2B SaaS company.
- Existing relationships with creators, podcast hosts, or communities in the engineering/QA space.
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, Discord/Slack admin tooling, and event platforms (Hopin, Zoom Events, or similar).
Why Testsigma:
This is not a seat on a stable, established team. This is a chance to build the brand presence and operational infrastructure of a category-defining GTM motion from the ground up — working directly with leadership, with real decisions in real time. If you want to compound fast and own what you build, the leverage here is real. The culture is high-trust, high-stakes. We decide quickly and we follow through. Leadership proximity is not a perk — it's the context you'll operate in. Your judgment will be tested and your perspective will matter.Share with someone awesome View all job openings
