What is the opportunity?

You'll join the Credit Client Fulfilment team as a key player in delivering credit products and solutions across the UK and Channel Islands. This role puts you at the heart of client relationships—managing transactions from approval through to completion, ensuring we maintain both strong risk controls and exceptional client experiences.

It's a permanent, full-time position based at our London or Jersey offices with 4 days on-site. You'll have the flexibility to work in an environment where relationship-building and problem-solving are genuinely valued.

What will you do?

  • Prepare, review and issue credit documentation for transactions, ensuring we stay compliant with our policies and procedures
  • Manage transactions to successful completion and drawdown, coordinating across internal and external teams to meet all requirements
  • Keep a close eye on collateral and credit limits daily, flagging any issues or excess exposures promptly
  • Set up new credit facilities in our systems, keeping credit information accurate and up to date across all databases
  • Approve loan drawdowns and collateral releases, including managing funding, disbursement and repayment across UK and Channel Islands operations
  • Support senior team members in managing risk for complex, cross-border structures, working with external legal advisors when needed
  • Spot opportunities to improve how we work and help roll out automation and streamlining projects
  • Support compliance and audit requests by collaborating efficiently on data gathering

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Solid background in credit administration and loan documentation within private or commercial banking
  • Strong grasp of control requirements and how to balance these with getting things done efficiently
  • Great interpersonal, investigative, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently without constant direction
  • A commercial mindset, genuine client focus, and excellent written and spoken English
  • Meticulous attention to detail with consistently accurate work

Nice-to-have

  • Degree in Banking & Finance, Business, Accounting, or similar qualification
  • Background in risk management or credit underwriting
  • Familiarity with Wealth Management credit business
  • Knowledge of digital transformation and automation in banking
