Procurement Manager
This role provides strategic and operational procurement support for global non‑IT spend, with a primary regional focus on North America. The position partners closely with global category leads, regional stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure effective sourcing execution, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and compliance with global procurement standards.
The role operates within a globally aligned procurement model, supporting category strategies while ensuring execution meets regional business and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing & Category Support- Support the development and execution of global category strategies for assigned non‑IT categories across North America.
- Lead or support sourcing initiatives including RFPs, negotiations, supplier selection, and contract renewals.
- Translate global category strategies into actionable regional sourcing plans.
- Act as a trusted procurement partner to regional business stakeholders, understanding demand, service requirements, and cost drivers.
- Coordinate closely with global category managers to ensure alignment between global objectives and regional needs.
- Provide guidance on procurement policies, processes, and best practices.
- Manage regional supplier relationships in line with global supplier strategies.
- Monitor supplier performance, service levels, risks, and compliance requirements.
- Support supplier rationalization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and value‑creation opportunities.
- Support total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis and demand‑management initiatives.
- Track and report sourcing benefits in alignment with finance standards.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with global procurement policies, legal requirements, and controls.
- Support contract governance in collaboration with Legal and Compliance teams.
- Identify and mitigate regional supply and operational risks.
- Strong experience in non‑IT procurement/category management, preferably in a global or matrix organization.
- Solid understanding of sourcing, contracting, and supplier management processes.
- Proven ability to partner with stakeholders across regions and functions.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience supporting North America procurement activities is strongly preferred.
