- Under limited supervision, accepts deliveries of goods into the company and verify deliveries with attached shipping manifests, bills of lading or purchase orders
- Interface with other functional groups to update, inform, acknowledge or resolve problems related to receiving issues.
- Use assisted and/or powered mechanical means to load, unload, store and deliver a variety of incoming and outgoing material.
- Participate in audits ensuring all quality and manufacturing procedures and policies are being followed.
- Comply with all rules and regulations of Raytheon Technologies, including, but not limited to: Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics and Compliance, Quality, and attendance requirements.
- Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Complete assigned tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual skills.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout a full shift is required.
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
- Overtime may be required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have
- HS Diploma or GED is required. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with SAP.
- Prior experience in receiving.
- The ability to effectively work in an environment requiring repetitive job responsibilities.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and customer service (internal and external) skills
- Proven attention to detail to ensure safety and quality.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Proficient using a computer system with experience on Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
- Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to take direction from more experienced coworkers, leads and managers.
