Full Stack Engineer

MunichFullTime€60k–€80kPosted Aug 7, 2026

About the Role

Join a small, product-focused team at a bootstrapped AI platform and consulting studio based in Munich, Germany. You'll be a core contributor to the platform that enables thousands of users to interact with AI every day — building high-quality full-stack features and the scalable backend systems that power them. From synchronizing large client datasets and running massive LLM workloads to architecting secure sandboxed environments, you'll own meaningful, high-impact work end to end. This is a hybrid role based in Munich.

What You'll Do

  • Build and ship high-quality full-stack features using TypeScript and React, focused on a seamless user experience.

  • Design and implement robust backend systems capable of handling massive data scale and millions of API requests.

  • Take full ownership of features from concept and deployment through to production operation, ensuring reliability and security.

  • Debug production incidents, identify root causes, and implement lasting solutions.

  • Mentor junior engineers and elevate the codebase through thorough, constructive code reviews.

  • Synchronize and index terabytes of client data while managing fine-grained permissions.

  • Operate and optimize systems that process millions of LLM calls per month with high reliability.

  • Architect and scale environments that spawn thousands of secure code sandboxes per day.

  • Build foundational infrastructure that enables rapid onboarding of custom integrations.

  • Shape how users interact with the platform by working across the core stack and AI integrations.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves:

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering full-stack features with React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.

  • Proven experience with Kubernetes-based deployment and container orchestration.

  • Hands-on experience building and running production-grade backend services at scale — high data volumes, millions of API requests, with a focus on reliability and security.

  • Comfortable working in Dockerized environments with robust CI/CD pipelines.

  • End-to-end product ownership mindset: from concept through deployment to live operation.

  • Strong debugging skills and experience resolving production incidents.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with backend technologies such as Python or tRPC.

  • Experience working with GenAI platforms or LLM integrations.

  • Track record of mentoring junior engineers and leading code reviews.

  • Familiarity with high-throughput distributed services.

You'll thrive here if you:

  • Care deeply about user experience and long-term product quality.

  • Learn quickly and enjoy operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Take pride in production ownership and have a strong instinct for reliability and security.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: €60,000 – €80,000 per year, depending on experience.

  • Agile, collaborative team culture with a strong emphasis on engineering quality.

  • Direct impact on a platform used by thousands of users daily.

  • Work at the intersection of AI and enterprise software in a growing market.

Please note: visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
