The position works closely with customer executives, business leaders, IT teams, partners, and Oracle stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, supportable solutions. The Senior Principal Consultant also mentors consulting teams, drives delivery quality, manages implementation risk, and contributes to professional services methods and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex, enterprise-scale Unifier implementations from discovery through deployment and stabilization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customer executives, business process owners, project controls teams, and IT stakeholders.
- Supports solution architecture, implementation strategy, governance, and delivery standards.
- Lead requirements workshops and translate business needs into functional and technical designs.
- Design and oversee Unifier business processes, workflows, data structures, reports, dashboards, security, and integrations.
- Review and approve requirements, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and training deliverables.
- Direct cross-functional teams of consultants, technical resources, partners, and customer stakeholders.
- Identify and manage solution, delivery, data, integration, and adoption risks.
- Lead solution reviews, design decisions, issue resolution, and executive governance discussions.
- Support end-to-end testing, production readiness, cutover, go-live, and post-production stabilization.
- Provide guidance on integrations with Primavera P6, ERP, financial, procurement, document management, and other enterprise systems.
- Mentor consultants and contribute to reusable delivery assets, implementation standards, and consulting best practices.
- Support pre-sales activities, including discovery, estimates, proposals, statements of work, and solution presentations.
- Identify opportunities to expand customer value through additional capabilities, process improvements, or services.
- Travel to customer locations as required.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience delivering enterprise software implementations in a client-facing consulting or professional services environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle Primavera Unifier, including business process configuration, workflow, reporting, security, administration, data management, and integration.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex implementations involving multiple business units, integrations, geographies, or stakeholder groups.
- Strong knowledge of project controls, capital project management, cost management, contract administration, or portfolio management.
- Experience defining solution architecture and implementation strategy.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional delivery teams and influence executive stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
- Experience producing and reviewing business, functional, system, integration, testing, deployment, and training documentation.
- Working knowledge of web technologies, relational databases, enterprise integrations, and reporting tools.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, risks, and customer expectations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.
- Ability to work effectively in global, cross-matrix teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating Unifier with Primavera P6, Oracle ERP, Oracle Fusion Cloud, or other enterprise applications.
- Experience in engineering and construction, utilities, oil and gas, public sector, transportation, manufacturing, or another project-intensive industry.
- Experience with implementation assessments, solution assurance, project recovery, or transformation advisory engagements.
- Experience supporting consulting sales, proposals, estimates, and statements of work.
- Relevant Oracle, Primavera, project management, construction management, cloud, or integration certifications.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- Typically 8 or more years of relevant professional experience.
- Typically 6 or more years of client-facing enterprise software consulting experience.
- Significant experience implementing Oracle Primavera Unifier or comparable project controls and capital program management solutions.
- Prior experience as a solution lead, functional lead, technical lead, architect, or engagement lead on complex implementations.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $187,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
