Position Purpose:
The Nurse Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to department nurse leadership. Assists with timekeeping, scheduling, data reporting/collection. They will function as the daily shift leader of the multidisciplinary team. Identifies and assists in resolution of problems related to safety, sanitation, and maintenance of the environment. Practices effective communication in all interactions (patient, visitor, co-worker, etc.). Promotes a positive work environment by demonstrating teamwork. Responsible for direct patient care of the hospitalized patients, providing a safe and therapeutic environment.
Shift Available: Day Shift
Status available: Full-time, benefit eligible (80 hours per pay period – every two weeks)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
- Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Graduation from accredited nursing program
- Minimum of three years staff experience. Three-Five years related practice experience in clinical area.
